Rugged LTE-A Pro router for mobile deployments

The Sierra 1104302 is a rugged LTE-A Pro router with integrated Wi-Fi built for mobile and industrial environments. It delivers reliable cellular connectivity in vehicles, field equipment and temporary sites where wired broadband is unavailable. The compact unit is engineered to withstand vibration, temperature extremes and dust ingress.

Thermals, noise and power in normal use

The fanless chassis dissipates heat passively so the router runs silently in cabins, enclosures or outdoor cabinets. Low power draw allows operation from vehicle electrical systems or solar-backed batteries without additional cooling. Rugged construction maintains thermal stability across the rated operating temperature range.

Questions about this item

How is the Sierra 1104302 mounted in a vehicle or fixed location?

The RV55 includes integrated mounting brackets for secure installation on a flat surface or DIN rail; the common mistake is over-tightening the screws and cracking the ruggedised housing.

Which components of the Sierra 1104302 require periodic replacement?

The internal SIM slot and antenna connectors are rated for the product lifetime; only the external LTE and Wi-Fi antennas may need replacement if physically damaged.
