SIGMA 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX DG Aspherical HSM Nikon Bundle camera lens

Ultra-wide zoom for Nikon F-mount

The Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX DG Aspherical HSM is an ultra-wide zoom lens designed for full-frame and APS-C Nikon SLRs. It covers a 12-24mm focal range with a 122° angle of view at the widest setting. The bundle adds a backpack, lens-cap keeper, cleaning solution, cloth, tabletop tripod and air blower for immediate use.

Optical performance across the frame

Four Special Low Dispersion elements and three aspherical elements control chromatic aberration, distortion and flare throughout the zoom range. Internal focusing keeps the barrel at a constant 3.9 inches and prevents the front element from rotating, so polarising filters remain effective at every focal length. Close focus reaches 11 inches or 28cm at all settings for foreground emphasis.

Nikon F-mount with Hyper Sonic Motor

The lens uses Sigma's Hyper Sonic Motor for fast, quiet autofocus with full-time manual override on compatible Nikon F-mount DSLRs. On APS-C bodies the effective range becomes approximately 19-38.5mm, still ultra-wide but less expansive than on full-frame. Buyers needing a wider maximum aperture or a native Z-mount design should look elsewhere.
