Wide-Angle Prime for Fujifilm X

The Sigma 15mm f/1.4 DC Contemporary is an APS-C wide-angle lens with a fast 1.4 aperture and a 22.5mm full-frame equivalent field of view. It suits street, travel and video creators who want a bright, compact prime for everyday shooting on Fujifilm X bodies.

Lightweight Build and Handling

The barrel measures 64.8mm in length and weighs 220g, making it roughly 30% shorter and 50% lighter than the 16mm F1.4 predecessor. An optical design using one FLD element, three SLD elements and three double-sided aspherical lenses keeps the profile slim for comfortable all-day carry.

Cleaning Kit and 58mm Filter Set Included

A bundled cleaning kit with a Lenspen cleaner and a 58mm filter kit adds front-element protection and maintenance tools straight from the box. Buyers who need a different filter thread or a dedicated hood will have to source those separately.

Questions about this item

How do I attach this 58mm filter kit to the lens, and what step do people often miss?

Screw the filter onto the 58mm front thread, then check the knurled ring is fully seated so the cap still closes flush.

What cleaning supplies from the kit will need replacing over time?

The Lenspen carbon tip and microfiber cloths wear out; replace them when they no longer lift smudges without streaking.

At what point does the f/1.4 aperture stop giving brighter exposures during long video takes?

The T-stop transmission matches the f/1.4 rating, so exposure only drops if you stop down or add ND filtration.
