RF-mount APS-C zoom lens

The SIGMA 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary is built for Canon RF APS-C bodies. It covers a 29-80mm equivalent range with a constant f/2.8 aperture. The lens suits photographers who want a bright standard zoom for everyday shooting and video work.

Simple mount with dust and splash protection

The lens attaches directly to the RF mount without an adapter. Its dust- and splash-proof construction helps keep internals clean during outdoor use. A 55mm filter thread accepts standard circular filters. The minimum focusing distance of 4.8 inches allows close-up detail work.

Steady performance at constant aperture

The f/2.8 aperture stays fixed throughout the zoom range, so exposure does not shift when framing changes. Three aspherical elements and one special low dispersion element control aberrations during extended use. The rounded seven-blade diaphragm produces smooth background rendering at all focal lengths.
