Professional zoom lens for Nikon F

The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM ART lens covers a versatile 24-70mm focal range with a constant f/2.8 aperture. It suits photographers who need one lens for landscapes, events and portraits on Nikon F-mount bodies. The optical design uses 19 elements in 14 groups including three SLD and four aspherical elements.

Constant f/2.8 aperture across the range

The wide f/2.8 maximum aperture provides strong low-light performance and shallow depth of field from 24mm to 70mm. Optical Stabilization reduces camera shake for sharper handheld shots and smoother video. At 70mm the reach ends, so subjects farther away will need a longer lens or cropping.

Nikon F mount with bundled filters

The lens mounts directly to Nikon F cameras and includes a hood, case, cleaning kit and Hoya UV plus CPL filters for immediate protection and polarisation control. The bundle removes the need to buy filters separately. Buyers using other lens mounts or mirrorless systems without an adapter cannot use this lens.

Questions about this item

Will the 24-70mm focal range and f/2.8 aperture work well with my older Nikon F-mount body?

Yes, the lens mounts directly to Nikon F bodies and covers the full 24-70mm zoom range at a constant f/2.8 aperture, giving the same field of view and low-light performance on both FX and DX sensors.

How can I verify the Optical Stabilization is actually reducing shake after I mount the lens?

Enable OS on the lens barrel, shoot handheld at slower shutter speeds, and compare sharpness with OS off; the viewfinder image should also appear steadier when the stabilizer is active.

Which filters and accessories are included in the bundle versus what I must buy separately?

The bundle supplies the lens, front and rear caps, hood, case, Hoya UV and CPL filters, a cleaning kit and cloth; any additional filters, tripod collar or remote release are separate purchases.
