Sigma 67mm Front Lens Cap

This third-generation snap-on cap fits any lens with a 67mm filter thread. It protects the front element from dust, dirt and scratches during storage or transport. The low-profile design carries the Sigma logo on its centre.

Installation and common issues

The centre-pinch mechanism lets you attach or remove the cap while a lens hood remains in place. Press both sides of the pinch to release the cap evenly. Forcing one side can bend the spring and prevent a secure fit.

67mm filter thread compatibility

This cap only fits lenses that have a 67mm front diameter. It will not work with smaller or larger filter sizes such as the 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens in other thread sizes.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Sigma LCF-67 III cap is seated correctly on my 67mm lens?

Press the centre pinch until you hear a click; the cap sits flush on the front threads and the Sigma logo faces outward.

Does the package include a rear cap or tether, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains only the 67mm front snap-on cap; rear caps and leashes are sold separately.

Should I choose this 67mm cap for my Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary lens?

Yes — the cap matches the 67mm filter thread on that lens across Canon EF, Nikon F and Sigma SA mounts.
