Signode 2X1101 Plastic Strapping Kit 300 lb Black 250 ft

Strapping Kit with 250 ft Roll

This kit provides polypropylene strapping in a 250 ft roll with a 300 lb break strength. It includes the necessary buckles for securing loads. The strapping measures 1/2 in wide and .018 in thick. It is designed for bundling and palletising tasks.

Hand-Tensioned Polypropylene Limits

The material relies on manual tensioning, so applied tension varies by operator technique. Polypropylene elongates under load and can relax over time, reducing holding force on heavy or shifting pallets. Sharp edges can cut the strap without edge protection. The .018 in thickness limits resistance to abrasion.

300 lb Break Strength Threshold

The 300 lb break strength defines the maximum force the strap can withstand before failure. Loads that exceed this limit require a higher-rated strapping system. This specification is the primary factor in determining whether the kit suits a specific bundling application.
