A PCI plug-in card adding three FireWire 400 ports for connecting legacy devices to a desktop PC
The SIIG 3-Port FireWire 400 Adapter installs in a PCI slot to provide three FireWire 400 ports for a PC. It is a plug-in card intended for users who need to connect legacy FireWire devices such as camcorders, audio interfaces or external drives.
Three FireWire 400 ports are provided on the bracket, all driven from the single PCI host interface. If your workflow requires more than three simultaneous FireWire connections or a different host interface, this card will not meet that need.
As a passive add-in card with no active cooling, it draws minimal power from the PCI bus and produces no audible noise. Normal operation adds negligible thermal load inside the chassis.
Measured against everything we stock in PCIe Expansion Cards, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.
