Power Over Cable technology allows the transmitter to power the receiver, requiring only one power outlet.

Source And Display Requirements

Verify your HDMI source device outputs 720p, 1080i or 1080p at 60Hz to match the supported resolutions. Ensure you have a solid Cat5e or Cat6 network cable run between locations, not exceeding the distance limits. The built-in IR extension operates on 20-60KHz carrier frequency for remote control of the source from the display side. Note the remote controller must be used within 15 feet of the transmitter for reliable IR signal transmission.
