USB 3.0 3G-SDI Capture Device with Loopout

The SIIG CE-SD0K11-S1 is an external USB 3.0 capture device that accepts a single 3G-SDI input and provides one SDI loop-out. It captures and records video at up to 1920 x 1080 resolution using H.264 compression and supports both PC and Mac hosts. Audio embedding is included for combined AV workflows.

Check host interface and SDI cabling

Verify the computer has an available USB 3.0 Type-A port and that the source equipment supplies a 3G-SDI signal compatible with the single input. The package includes a USB 3.0 A-to-A cable, so no additional host cable is required. Ensure recording software can ingest H.264 streams at 1080p.

Suits single-channel SDI capture with pass-through

This unit suits operators who need one 3G-SDI capture channel with a clean loop-out for monitoring or downstream distribution. It is not for buyers who need more storage, multiple simultaneous inputs, internal PCIe installation, or capture beyond 1080p resolution.

Questions about this item

What cables and guides come with the CE-SD0K11-S1, and is a separate SDI cable required?

The package includes the capture device, a USB 3.0 A-to-A cable and a quick-start guide. An SDI cable for the 3G-SDI input is not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the single-input model or a multi-input version for live switching?

This model provides exactly one 3G-SDI input and one loop-out output. If your workflow needs simultaneous capture of multiple SDI sources, you will need a different device with additional inputs.

What does the 1920 x 1080 maximum resolution mean when recording to a PC or Mac over USB 3.0?

The device can capture and compress 1080p video at up to 1920 x 1080 using H.264 encoding, delivering broadcast-quality footage directly to your editing or streaming software via the USB 3.0 connection.
