2x1 USB-C 4K KVM Switch

This KVM switch lets you operate two USB-C computers or tablets from a single keyboard, mouse and 4K HDMI display. It supports DisplayPort Alt Mode sources and is compatible with Apple, HP, Dell and Lenovo devices. A top-mounted push button provides instant switching between the two connected systems.

Check your setup before ordering

Each source must provide a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode video output to drive the HDMI 4K signal. The switch delivers USB 2.0 data at 480Mbps for keyboard and mouse only; it does not carry high-speed storage or video over the USB-A ports. The HDMI output supports 3840x2160 at 60Hz with HDCP 2.2 and 7.1-channel audio pass-through.

Replaces dual-cable clutter and basic switchers

It consolidates two USB-C video, data and charging paths into one HDMI monitor and one HID set, removing the need to swap cables manually. The jump is worth it when you regularly move between two USB-C Alt Mode hosts and want 4K 60Hz 18Gbps video with 7.1 sound without re-plugging peripherals.

Questions about this item

Does the switch include the USB-C cables to connect two computers, or must they be purchased separately?

The unit provides two USB-C input ports and one HDMI output plus two USB 2.0 Type-A ports for keyboard and mouse; cables for the computers are not included and must be bought separately.

Which version should I choose if my computers support Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4?

Both USB-C input ports accept Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 hosts running DP Alt mode, so either standard works with the same switch.

What does the 18 Gbps bandwidth mean for the HDMI 4K 60 Hz output?

It delivers the full 18 Gbps needed for 3840x2160 at 60 Hz with YUV 4:4:4 8-bit or YUV 4:2:0 10-bit colour, plus 7.1-channel audio and HDCP 2.2.
