A PCI Express RAID controller with three SATA 6Gb/s ports supporting RAID 0, 1 and 10
The SIIG SC-SA0T11-S1 is a plug-in RAID controller that adds three SATA 6Gb/s ports through a PCI Express x2 slot. It supports RAID 0, 1 and 10 for desktop or server builders who need local redundancy or striping without a full HBA.
The card replaces an onboard controller that lacks RAID support or offers fewer ports than the build requires. The jump is worth it when the board has a free PCIe x2 lane and the workload needs hardware-assisted mirroring or striping across three drives.
The low-profile bracket fits standard slots and the package includes two data cables, four mounting screws and a driver disc. Driver installation on older Windows releases can stall if the disc media is unreadable, so downloading the latest package from the vendor site is advisable.

The board measures 4.7 inches tall and 5.8 inches long with a 0.8 inch thickness, so it needs a full-height PCI Express x2 slot and matching bracket clearance.
After seating the card in the PCI Express x2 slot, attach the two included SATA data cables to the three internal connectors before closing the chassis.
Re-run the driver installer from the CD whenever the operating system is upgraded or reinstalled to keep RAID 0, 1 or 10 management functional.
