Silensys E7 KY Over-Ear Headphones

The Silensys E7 KY are wireless over-ear headphones with active noise cancellation and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. They suit commuters, office workers and travellers who want to suppress ambient sound while listening to music or taking calls. A 3.5 mm connector also allows wired use when the battery is flat or a wired source is preferred. The lightweight frame and protein earpads aim to keep long sessions comfortable.

Thermals Noise and Power in Daily Use

Passive over-ear designs produce no fan noise and negligible heat against the ears during typical listening. Active noise cancellation runs on the internal battery, drawing modest power that yields up to 30 hours of playback per charge. Recharging the battery takes about 3 hours. The 16 ohm input impedance means the drivers are easy to drive from portable devices without extra amplification.

45 mm Drivers and 30 Hour Battery

The 45 mm custom drivers deliver the frequency response and deep bass profile that define the E7 KY sound signature. Buyers who need longer than 30 hours between charges or who require a different driver size should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How do I pair the headphones with Bluetooth 5.0 and what step do people miss?

Enable Bluetooth on your device, hold the power button until the LED flashes, then select the headphones from the list. The step often missed is holding the button long enough to enter pairing mode rather than just turning them on.

Which parts will need replacement after extended use?

The protein earpads and headband cushion can wear or flatten over time. The internal battery is not user-replaceable; after many charge cycles the 30-hour playtime will gradually decrease.

What limits continuous use during a long session?

The 30-hour battery life is the first limit under sustained wireless ANC use. After depletion a 3-hour recharge is required before further playback.
