White Primera mid-tower overview

The SilverStone Primera PM02 is a white ATX mid-tower built from steel panels with a tempered-glass side window. It accepts ATX boards up to 12" x 11" and Micro-ATX, with the PSU mounted at the bottom. Seven expansion slots give room for full-length graphics cards and additional add-in cards.

Bundled cooling and front I/O

Four 140mm PWM fans are included: three at the front and one at the rear. The front panel provides three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port and two audio jacks. Dust filters cover the intake areas to reduce internal buildup.

Storage capacity and component limits

Three 3.5" drive bays also accept 2.5" drives, and three dedicated 2.5" bays add further SSD space. Graphics cards up to 415mm long and 174mm wide fit comfortably. CPU coolers up to 167mm tall are supported, while the front takes a 360mm radiator, the top a 240mm unit and the rear up to 140mm. The PSU cavity allows units up to 190mm deep.

Questions about this item

Will the three included 140 mm PWM front fans need periodic cleaning or replacement?

Yes — the front panel has dust filters that should be removed and cleaned regularly; the PWM fans themselves are standard 140 mm units and can be swapped individually if a bearing wears out.

What thermal limit appears first during a long, heavy workload?

The top radiator mount is capped at 240 mm, so a 360 mm liquid cooler cannot be fitted there; that ceiling often becomes the bottleneck before the 167 mm CPU-cooler height or 415 mm GPU length limits are reached.

How loud and hot does the case get when all four included 140 mm PWM fans run continuously?

Four 140 mm PWM fans at full speed move substantial airflow through the filtered front and rear, keeping internal temperatures low, but audible noise rises noticeably; fan curves in BIOS or software let you balance acoustics against thermals for 24/7 operation.
