Micro-ATX HTPC chassis for living-room builds

The SilverStone GD04B-3.0-USA is a desktop server chassis designed for Micro-ATX motherboards. Its 323mm depth and 21.5-litre volume let it sit inside a standard home-theatre cabinet. An 8.0mm aluminium front panel and three included 120mm fans give a premium look with positive-pressure cooling.

Suits quiet media centres.

Builders wanting a silent living-room PC for streaming or light gaming will appreciate the filtered airflow and cable-routing space. The case only accepts 2.5-inch SSDs and two 3.5-inch drives, so users needing large mechanical RAID arrays should look elsewhere. Expansion cards longer than 11 inches also will not fit.

Three 120mm fans and front USB 3.0 ports included

The bundled fans create positive air pressure for dust prevention and low noise without extra purchases. Two front-panel USB 3.0 ports provide fast external connectivity for peripherals or media drives. A 5.25-inch optical bay remains available for legacy media playback.

Questions about this item

Will my Micro-ATX motherboard fit inside the 323mm depth?

Yes, the chassis supports Micro-ATX boards and the 323mm depth provides ample room for standard components including cable routing space.

Can I keep my full-size ATX power supply when moving to this case?

The case accepts standard ATX power supplies up to 180mm long, so most common units will fit without replacement.

How can I verify the three 120mm fans are creating positive air pressure after assembly?

Feel for steady airflow exiting the rear and side vents while the front panel remains the only major intake; dust buildup inside should stay minimal over time.
