Compact HTPC server chassis

The SilverStone GD10B is a desktop-format server chassis designed for home-theatre PCs that need full-size ATX components in a living-room footprint. Its 362 mm depth lets it sit inside most TV stands or media cabinets while still housing an ATX motherboard, ATX power supply and a 5.25-inch optical drive. A lockable front door secures the system and installed drives from tampering. Positive-pressure airflow with included intake filters keeps dust out and noise low.

Verify motherboard and card clearance

Confirm your motherboard is SSI-CEB, ATX or Micro-ATX before ordering, as other form factors are not supported. Measure any graphics or add-in card; the chassis accepts expansion cards up to 309 mm (12.2 inches) in length. Ensure your ATX power supply and chosen CPU cooler fit within the internal layout, and check that the 5.25-inch bay meets your optical or front-access needs. The seven standard plus one auxiliary expansion slots cover most HTPC configurations.

Lockable door and filter kit included

The lockable front panel adds physical security for shared or public spaces, while the bundled quick-access filters simplify dust maintenance without tools. Multi-purpose drive cages accept 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives directly, removing the need for separate mounting adapters. Optional SilverStone RA02 rackmount ears can be added if the deployment shifts from cabinet to rack, extending the chassis versatility beyond the living room.

Questions about this item

Does the GD10B ship with drive cages, filters and rack-mount ears, or must I buy them separately?

The chassis includes drive cages with multi-purpose mounts and quick-access filters. SilverStone RA02 rackmount ears are supported but not included.

Should I choose the ATX or Micro-ATX version of the GD10B for my build?

There is only one GD10B model; it accepts both ATX and Micro-ATX motherboards, so no version choice is required.

What does the 309 mm expansion-card limit mean when I install a graphics card?

Any full-height card up to 309 mm (12.2 inches) will fit, so most standard dual-slot GPUs clear the chassis without modification.
