5U Rackmount Chassis for Dual 360mm Radiators

The SilverStone RM52 is a 5U rackmount server chassis built to hold Mini-ITX through SSI-EEB motherboards. It adds a second 360mm radiator bracket over the previous RM51 design so dual-CPU systems can run two full-size liquid loops. Eight expansion slots and a front-panel USB-C port complete the feature set.

Check Motherboard Size and Rail Kit Before Ordering

Verify that your board fits the supported Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, Extended ATX, SSI-CEB or SSI-EEB form factors. The quick-sliding rail kit (RMS05-22) is sold separately, so budget for it if you need rack rails. Retractable feet are included for temporary tower-style use on a bench.

Dual 360mm Radiator Layout Handles Heavy Heat Loads

Two 360mm radiator mounts let you dissipate heat from dual processors without relying on high-RPM fans. The 5U height keeps airflow paths short and direct, helping noise stay lower than in smaller rack units. No fan or radiator diameters beyond the stated 360mm support are specified.

Questions about this item

What comes with the SilverStone RM52 and do I need to buy rails separately?

The chassis includes a front-panel USB-C port and retractable feet for tower use; the RMS05-22 sliding rail kit is sold separately.

Should I choose the RM51 or RM52 for dual-CPU liquid cooling?

The RM52 adds a second 360 mm radiator bracket so you can mount two 360 mm radiators, while the RM51 only supports one.

How does the dual 360 mm radiator support help a dual-CPU build?

Two 360 mm radiators give each CPU its own large liquid-cooling loop, keeping both processors cool under sustained server loads.
