High-efficiency 1200W ATX power supply

The Silverstone Strider Platinum ST1200-PT delivers 1200 watts of continuous power with 80 PLUS Platinum certification. A fully modular cable design keeps builds tidy, while a single +12V rail provides stable output for demanding graphics cards. Strict ±3% voltage regulation and low ripple ensure clean power under load.

Enthusiasts needing quiet high-wattage delivery

The semi-fanless 139mm Air Penetrator fan stays off below 40% load for silent idle operation. Builders who require fanless operation above that threshold or who need a smaller form factor such as SFX should consider other models. The ATX footprint and 1200W rating target multi-GPU or workstation configurations.

Magnetic fan filter and generous connector count

An FF141 magnetised fan filter is bundled to reduce dust intake without tools. Sixteen SATA connectors and multiple individual PCI-E 8/6-pin plus dual EPS 8-pin cables support extensive storage arrays and multi-card expansion straight from the box.

Questions about this item

What motherboard power connectors must my board provide for this 1200W unit?

The power supply uses standard ATX and PS2 connectors, so any motherboard with a 24-pin ATX socket and an 8-pin EPS socket will work.

Will my existing SATA drives connect directly to this power supply?

Yes, the package includes 16 sets of SATA connectors for drives and other peripherals.

How can I confirm the fanless mode is active under light loads?

Below 40% load the 139mm Air Penetrator fan stops completely; you can verify silence and zero RPM in monitoring software.
