1U LGA1700 CPU cooler for rack servers

The Silverstone XE01-1700A is a low-profile CPU cooler built for Intel LGA1700 processors in 1U server chassis. Its 28mm height fits the strict vertical space of rackmount enclosures. A reinforced back plate secures the unit during transport or vibration-heavy environments. The 80mm dual ball bearing fan runs on a 4-pin PWM connector for automatic speed control.

Suited for 1U and low-profile builds.

This cooler targets system integrators assembling 1U rack servers or compact workstations where Z-height is capped at 28mm. The 90mm square footprint matches standard mounting patterns. Builders using full-height tower cases or processors with higher thermal output should look at larger coolers that offer greater airflow and surface area. Buyers needing support for other socket types cannot use this model.

28mm height decides fit in 1U racks

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 28mm overall height. This dimension allows the XE01-1700A to close a 1U chassis lid without interference. If the available clearance exceeds this limit, a taller cooler may provide quieter operation. If the clearance is lower, no standard LGA1700 cooler will install. Verify the exact internal height of your chassis before ordering.
