This Simplex 8148B-LH-26D is a heavy-duty mechanical pushbutton mortise lever lock finished in satin chrome. It provides exterior access by combination with free egress from the interior. The lock fits wood or metal doors with standard mortise preparation and a 3-hour UL/ULC fire rating on "A" labeled doors.

Suits doors prepared for SFIC cores

This lock suits installers fitting doors 44 to 57 mm thick with a 70 mm backset and standard 86 mortise prep. It is not for doors outside that thickness range or for buyers who need a cylinder included, because the SFIC core is sold separately.
