Two-piece vinyl hood stripe kit

This set includes two black vinyl decals sized 31.5 inches by 4.5 inches for universal bonnet application. The reflective material is rated for outdoor durability and adheres to any smooth, clean surface. Installation uses the pre-applied self-adhesive backing without additional tools. Removal leaves no residue or paint damage.

Weather-resistant reflective vinyl

The high-quality vinyl withstands sun, rain and temperature cycles for years without fading or peeling. Self-adhesive tape bonds firmly once the surface is cleaned and dried. No heat gun or specialist equipment is required for fitting. The thin profile adds negligible weight and does not affect panel gaps.

Simple apply-and-remove accessory

Each decal is a single piece that aligns quickly on the bonnet centre line. The adhesive releases cleanly when the stripe is no longer wanted. No cutting, trimming or professional wrapping service is needed. The kit suits owners who want a temporary motorsport look without permanent modification.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 31.5" x 4.5" vinyl stripe on my hood without bubbles?

Clean and dry the surface thoroughly, then peel the backing and apply the self-adhesive tape slowly from one end, smoothing with a squeegee or credit card to push air out.

Will the reflective vinyl decal fade or peel after years of sun and weather exposure?

The high-quality reflective vinyl is rated for outdoor use for years; if edges lift or colour dulls, the decal can be removed cleanly with no residue left behind.

At what point does the adhesive bond fail under constant heat and vibration?

The self-adhesive tape is designed for exterior automotive surfaces; sustained extreme heat or improper surface prep are the first factors that can cause lifting.
