Two-port RJ45 selector switch

The SinLoon RJ45 switch selector provides two RJ45 ports and a push-button to choose between them. It lets two devices share a single Ethernet connection without unplugging cables. The metal enclosure houses a manual switch that routes the signal to one port at a time. It is intended for basic 100 megabits per second wired networks.

Tool-free installation with one active port

Connect the incoming cable to the common port and the two devices to the switched ports, then press the button to select the active link. No software, drivers or power supply are required. The only common issue is forgetting that only one port works at any moment, so both devices cannot transmit simultaneously.

100 megabit bandwidth limit

The selector passes traffic at up to 100 megabits per second, which matches legacy Fast Ethernet speeds. It does not negotiate Gigabit rates, so modern routers and NICs will fall back to the lower speed. The manual operation also means no automatic failover or load balancing is possible.
