16 GB dual-rank DDR4 2133 ECC registered kit for Cisco UCS C460 M4 servers
This SK hynix kit provides 16 GB of DDR4 memory as two 8 GB registered DIMMs. Each module runs at 2133 MHz with CL15 latency at 1.20 V and includes ECC error correction. The 288-pin RDIMMs are built for server and workstation platforms only.
The modules are validated for Cisco UCS C-Series C460 M4 systems and similar registered-DIMM platforms. They will not work in desktop or laptop computers that require unbuffered non-ECC memory. Buyers who need consumer DIMMs should look elsewhere.
Insert each DIMM into the appropriate registered-DIMM slots following the system service guide. Population rules vary by platform, so verify the correct slot order before seating the modules. The most common issue is installing registered ECC DIMMs in a board that only accepts unbuffered memory.

The kit is validated for Cisco UCS C-Series C460 M4 DDR4 servers; it requires a platform that accepts 288-pin registered DDR4 DIMMs with 1.20 V operation.
No, registered and unbuffered modules cannot be mixed on the same memory bus; the server will not POST if both types are populated.
Check the BIOS memory information or OS tools such as dmidecode; they should report 2133 MT/s, CL15, 1.20 V and registered ECC mode.
