VK81 Wireless Gaming Headset

The SKAPENDY VK81 is a wireless gaming headset built for players who use multiple platforms. It connects to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Mac, smartphones and tablets using either a 2.4 GHz USB dongle or Bluetooth 5.4. The 50 mm dynamic drivers deliver 3D stereo sound for immersive gameplay and media. Active noise cancellation on the microphone helps keep voice chat clear.

Check 2.4 GHz dongle and Bluetooth limits

The 2.4 GHz USB transmitter must be used as a paired set; it cannot be split between devices. Bluetooth 5.4 mode does not work on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 consoles unless a separate USB Bluetooth adapter is added. On Nintendo Switch the microphone is not supported, so voice chat will not function. Xbox consoles are not compatible with this headset at all.

50 hour battery for long sessions

A built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 50 hours of operating time on a single charge, supporting extended gaming without frequent recharging. The 32 ohm impedance allows the drivers to reach loud volumes efficiently from the wireless circuit. Over-ear cushions and a lightweight frame help maintain comfort during marathon sessions while the RGB lighting remains active.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter for PC or PS5?

The package includes the headset, a 2-in-1 USB transmitter for 2.4 GHz wireless, and a USB-C charging cable. Bluetooth 5.4 mode works with phones and tablets; PC, PS5 and PS4 require the included dongle because they do not natively support Bluetooth audio.

Should I use the 2.4 GHz dongle or Bluetooth 5.4 for my Switch and phone?

Use the 2.4 GHz dongle on Switch for game audio — note the microphone is not supported there. Switch to Bluetooth 5.4 for smartphones, tablets and general media where the mic works normally.

How long will the 50-hour battery last in a typical gaming session with RGB on?

The quoted 50 hours is measured with lighting off; enabling the RGB LEDs will reduce runtime, but the 32 ohm 50 mm drivers and ENC microphone draw modest power so most sessions still span multiple days before a USB-C recharge.
