SKB iSeries 3i-1309 Waterproof Hard Case 13096PC4K

Purpose-built protection

The SKB iSeries 3i-1309 is a military-grade waterproof hard case designed for photographers carrying a Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with lens attached. Custom-cut PE foam provides dedicated slots for two lenses, a lens hood section and an accessory compartment. A removable foam section allows a longer lens to stay mounted on the camera body.

Environmental sealing limits

The injection-moulded polypropylene copolymer resin shell meets MIL-C-4150J and IP67 standards for water and dust tight, submersible protection. An automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve compliant with MIL-STD-648C prevents vacuum lock during altitude changes. The gasket-sealed design resists UV exposure, solvents and corrosion for long-term durability in harsh conditions.

Upgrade from soft bags

This case replaces padded shoulder bags or semi-rigid cases that cannot withstand immersion, crushing loads or pressure differentials. The jump is worth it when gear must survive checked baggage handling, boat spray or dusty location shoots without internal movement. It is not for users who need quick-access openings or minimal packed volume for daily carry.
