Complete Podcast Starter Kit

The sktome BM-800 bundle combines a black condenser microphone, scissor arm stand, shock mount, pop filter and foam cap with an upgraded V8max sound card. It connects through USB Type-C and works with Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS, PS4, Xbox and Switch. Designed for beginners who want a single package for streaming, recording, singing and gaming.

Voice Changer and Effects Under Load

The V8max card provides four voice changer modes and ten sound effects with seven independent sound controls and colourful volume indicators. A signal-to-noise ratio of 78 decibels keeps background hiss low during long sessions. The condenser capsule requires 48 V phantom power supplied by the included sound card, so performance stays consistent without an external preamp.

Simple USB-C Setup and Common Issues

Plug the microphone into the sound card, connect the card via USB-C to a computer or phone using the supplied cable and select the device in your software. No driver install is needed on mainstream systems. The scissor arm must be tightened firmly or it can sag over time, and the pop filter should sit close to the capsule to stop plosives.
