Listeners who want all-day battery

Stay-Aware Mode lets you hear surroundings without removing the headphones, adjustable through the companion app. Multipoint pairing switches between two devices. Buyers who need active noise cancellation or a folding frame should look elsewhere.

App control unlocks the full feature set

The Skullcandy App adds adjustable Stay-Aware levels, preset and custom EQ profiles, and a low-latency audio mode. Multipoint pairing settings are also managed there. Without the app the headphones still work in standard Bluetooth or wired mode.
