SkyRover X1 Grey 4K HDR drone

The SkyRover X1 Grey is a foldable camera drone weighing under 249 grams. It captures 48-megapixel stills and 4K video at up to 60 frames per second with HDR. The airframe includes a three-axis hardware gimbal plus software stabilisation, GPS positioning and a companion app for flight control and smart tracking modes.

50 000 ft transmission range

The control link and live 1080p video feed are rated to 50 000 feet, which equals roughly 15 kilometres or 9.32 miles. That single figure decides whether the drone can cover the distance a pilot needs for landscape, urban or long-range inspection work without signal loss.

32-minute flight time at 15 m/s

A single battery delivers up to 32 minutes of hover or forward flight at speeds up to 15 metres per second. The airframe uses passive cooling only, so motor and electronics noise stays low during normal operation and power draw matches the rated endurance without external thermal management.

Questions about this item

How does the 48-megapixel sensor actually perform when the drone is moving at 15 metres per second?

The 1/1.32-inch CMOS with f/1.7 aperture captures 48-megapixel stills and 4K/60fps HDR video; the 3-axis hardware gimbal and software stabilization keep footage steady even at the 15 m/s top speed.

What does the 50,000-foot transmission figure mean for real-world range and video feed quality?

The 50,000-foot (9.32-mile) FCC-rated link delivers a stable 1080p/60fps live view; actual range varies with interference, obstacles and local regulations.

Will the foldable airframe fit in a standard daypack and stay under the 249-gram registration threshold?

Yes — the compact foldable design weighs under 249 grams, so it slips into a typical backpack and avoids mandatory registration in many regions.
