Two-Adult Seating Capacity

The SlickBlue porch swing set is a complete outdoor seating unit built around a fir wood A-frame stand. It includes a tiltable canopy, adjustable chains, and a plush cushion so two adults can sit side by side on the 37-inch bench. The all-in-one design means no separate frame purchase is required for immediate use.

Canopy Tilt and Chain Adjustment Limits

Sun protection depends on manually tilting the 67 by 47 inch canopy to block direct light at different angles. Seat height is changed by moving the carbon steel chain links to alternative positions rather than a continuous mechanism. The canopy fabric adds a silver-coated layer that repels rainwater while the polyester cover resists wear.

Fir Wood Frame and Mixed-Material Construction

The A-shaped stand uses fir wood for structural legs measuring 67 inches wide by 44 inches deep at the base. Carbon steel chains and extra support bars reinforce the frame to handle a 661 lb combined load. Seat cushions use non-woven fabric filling for fast drying, while the 18 inch backrest and 19 inch seat depth define the fixed seating posture.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 37-inch or 94 cm seat width for two adults?

They are the same measurement — 37 inches equals 94 cm — so the bench seats two adults either way.

How does the 661 lb capacity hold up when the swing is actually moving?

The A-shaped fir wood stand, carbon steel chains and extra support bars are rated for 661 lbs total, so two average adults can swing without exceeding the limit.

What does the tilt canopy actually adjust, and what does the silver-coated layer block?

You can angle the 67 x 47 inch canopy to shade the seat, and the silver-coated polyester layer repels rainwater.
