SlickBlue 4-Piece Square Fillable Umbrella Base Set with Handle and Funnel, Black

Four-Plate Umbrella Base Set

The SlickBlue set provides four square plates that combine into a 38-inch base for offset and cantilever umbrellas. Each plate measures 19 by 19 inches and is moulded from PE and PVC with galvanised connecting pins. The empty assembly weighs 18 pounds, making it light enough to reposition before filling. It is intended for patio owners who need a modular, heavy-duty anchor for large freestanding umbrellas.

Fillable Weight and Portability

Each plate includes a 1.5-inch fill port and a supplied funnel for adding wet sand or water. When fully loaded the four plates reach 238 pounds, giving the umbrella a stable footprint in windy conditions. Integrated carrying handles let you move individual plates easily, and the pins allow quick assembly or disassembly for seasonal storage. The design suits users who want ballast that can be emptied and stored flat when not in use.

Sustained Wind Resistance

Wet sand ballast maintains its mass without evaporation, so the 238-pound load remains consistent through prolonged gusts. The PE and PVC shells resist UV degradation and cracking, while the galvanised pins prevent rust that could weaken the connections over time. This construction serves buyers who leave umbrellas deployed for entire seasons. It is not suited for installations that require permanent concrete anchoring or integrated lighting channels.
