Spacious Raised Planter for Climbing Plants

This elevated garden bed measures 43 by 17 by 45 inches and includes an integrated trellis with a hanging roof frame. The large growing area suits flowers, herbs, vegetables and vines. The roof structure supports hanging baskets, string lights or seasonal décor. It is designed for patios, porches, decks and backyard gardens.

Fir Wood Construction Handles Outdoor Exposure

The planter is built from 100 percent natural fir wood with a weather-resistant, waterproof finish. The material is described as sturdy and crack-resistant for long-term outdoor use. Four drainage holes and a slatted bottom prevent waterlogging and promote healthy root development. An optional removable base allows roots to grow into the ground below.

Straightforward Assembly With One Common Fit Issue

The unit arrives as a flat-pack kit requiring basic tools and the included hardware. Pre-drilled holes generally align, but the roof frame brackets can be tight and may need gentle persuasion to seat fully. The orange finish is applied at the factory, so no painting is needed before use. Ensure the bed is level before filling with soil to avoid stress on the joints.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the orange 43x17x45 fir-wood planter absorb when it sits in full sun all day?

The natural fir wood with weather-resistant finish stays cool to the touch even after hours of direct sunlight, so roots and hands are protected from excessive heat.

What tools or fasteners do I need to assemble the 43x17x45 raised bed before I can use it?

All required hardware is included in the box, so no extra tools or fasteners are necessary to put the planter together.

Will the 45-inch trellis height interfere with shorter plant stands I already have on the same patio?

The vertical trellis and hanging roof rise above lower stands without blocking their light, letting you mix heights in one garden layout.
