Smokeless Stainless Steel Fire Pit

The SlickBlue fire pit is a portable patio heater built from stainless steel with a silver finish. It weighs 26.5 lbs and measures 19.5 inches in diameter by 17 inches tall. The unit includes an ash pan and uses a three-level combustion system to reduce smoke during operation.

Three-Level Combustion Behaviour

Primary combustion draws air through vent holes on the second layer to feed the fuel directly. Secondary combustion uses top-layer holes and eight long vents to ignite unburned particles and create a spiral flame. Tertiary combustion pulls airflow from bottom vents up a middle column to burn off remaining smoke before it exits the fire pit.

Stainless Steel Limits

The manufacturer notes that alkaline plant ash will cause slight surface rust after repeated use. The ash tray may also deform slightly under high temperatures. These changes are described as cosmetic and do not affect normal function of the fire pit.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 16.5-inch firebowl throw off during an all-day burn?

The 3-level combustion system feeds oxygen through bottom, middle and top vents so the fire burns hotter with less smoke and wood, keeping steady heat through a full day.

What surface or base do I need to set the 19.5-inch diameter pit on?

Place it on any level, non-combustible surface such as stone, concrete or a metal fire-pit pad; the integrated ash pan catches debris so no separate tray is required.

Will the 26.5-lb stainless steel body discolour or warp next to my older cast-iron grill?

The manufacturer notes that plant ash is alkaline so the stainless may develop light surface rust and the ash pan can warp slightly after high-heat use, but this does not affect normal operation.
