Freestanding Toy Storage Organizer

This brown freestanding unit combines eight open cubes with three detachable fabric drawers for mixed toy and accessory storage. The P2 MDF frame measures 37" wide by 16" deep by 37" high and weighs 41 lbs when assembled. It suits families needing a single piece that handles books, bins and loose playthings together.

Weight Capacity and Shelf Limits

Each cube shelf supports up to 22 lbs while the top surface holds 66 lbs for lamps or decor. The main board is 0.5" thick and the back board is 1" thick for rigidity. Drawers are non-woven fabric and not rated for heavy loads, so keep bulky items on the fixed shelves.

37-Inch Height Defines Placement

At 37 inches tall the unit reaches waist height on most adults, fixing its footprint in playrooms, bedrooms or hallways. The 16-inch depth fits standard shelving alcoves but will not suit narrow closets. Buyers needing lower profiles or corner-fit dimensions should consider other configurations.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the two-pack option or a single unit for my playroom?

The two-pack option gives you two complete organizers, doubling the eight-cube layout and providing six fabric drawers in total for larger toy collections.

What does the 22-pound shelf rating mean when I load books and bins?

Each cube compartment holds up to 22 lbs, so a typical stack of picture books or a filled fabric drawer stays well within the limit without sagging.

How does the half-inch MDF back panel affect stability against the wall?

The 0.5" backboard and 1" main board create a rigid frame that resists wobble when the unit is fully loaded to the 66-lb top capacity.
