Two-Computer HDMI KVM Switch

The SMA KVM switch lets you control two computers from one keyboard, one mouse and one HDMI monitor. It is designed for users who want to eliminate duplicate peripherals on a desk with two active systems.

Check Video Output And Peripheral Ports

Verify that each computer provides an HDMI video output and a standard USB port for keyboard and mouse signals. The switch supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz and also handles 1080p or lower, so confirm your monitor and sources match those capabilities.

Metal Housing With Front Button And Hotkey Control

The unit uses a compact metal chassis with a push button on the front for instant switching. Hotkey commands via Scroll Lock and an included remote cable give additional hands-free options without software installation.

Questions about this item

What cables come in the box and do I need to buy any HDMI or USB leads separately?

The switch includes a remote-control cable for the wired remote. HDMI cables for the two computers and the monitor, plus USB cables for keyboard and mouse, are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 4K 30 Hz model or the 4K 60 Hz model mentioned in the title?

The specifications list a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 at 30 Hz, so the hardware delivers 4K at 30 Hz; the 60 Hz figure appears only in the supplier title and is not supported by this unit.

Will my 4K monitor actually run at 3840x2160 30 Hz through this switch?

Yes, the switch supports 3840x2160 at 30 Hz and will downscale automatically to 1080p or lower if the connected display cannot handle the higher resolution.
