Push-button or remote switching

Connect the laptop through a USB-C port with DP Alt Mode and the desktop through two HDMI cables, then add the included 12 V 1.5 A power adapter. The most common issue is a laptop USB-C port that lacks video output, which prevents the dock from delivering any picture to the monitors.

4K 60 Hz dual display headroom

The dock drives two screens at up to 4K 60 Hz and steps down to 4K 30 Hz or 2K 120 Hz when needed. On macOS the two HDMI outputs mirror each other, so extended desktop across both monitors is not possible. Bandwidth tops out at 10 Gbps on the USB-C data port, limiting the fastest external SSDs.
