Dual-computer dual-monitor KVM

This SMA USB 3.0 DisplayPort KVM switch lets one keyboard, one mouse and two monitors control two computers or laptops. It provides four integrated USB 3.0 ports for shared peripherals such as printers or scanners. Driver-free operation covers Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, XP, Linux and Mac OS. An external 5 V power adapter is included for high-draw USB devices.

DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth limits

The switch supports DP 1.4 signalling and is backwards compatible with DP 1.2. Maximum video throughput reaches 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz, with additional modes at 2560×1440 144 Hz and 1920×1080 144 Hz. Mixed-resolution inputs are accepted, for example one computer at 4K 60 Hz and the other at 1440p 60 Hz. Switching between sources takes two to four seconds via front buttons or the 1.5 m wired remote.
