Extended power for Sony cameras

The SmallRig NP-FZ100 USB-C rechargeable battery delivers 2400mAh nominal capacity for longer shooting sessions. It is fully decoded to work without pop-up warnings on models including the FX3, a1, a7R IV, a7 IV, a7S III, a7C II, a7CR, a7R V, a6700, a6600 and a7C. The battery matches the original dimensions exactly so it fits securely in the camera compartment.

Simple USB-C charging

A built-in USB-C port accepts 5V 2.2A input from power banks, laptops, wall adapters or car chargers. A full charge takes about 2.5 hours and requires no proprietary dock or special charger. The frosted ABS and PC shell is fire-resistant and durable, while multiple protection circuits guard against over-charging, over-discharging, over-voltage, over-current and short-circuits.

Stable output during extended use

Quality cells maintain consistent voltage and current output throughout the discharge cycle. The 2400mAh capacity supports prolonged video recording and continuous still shooting without sudden voltage drops. Photographers who need hot-swap capability or simultaneous charging of multiple batteries will require additional units or an external charger.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 2400mAh battery is delivering stable power to my Sony a7 IV after installing it?

The battery is fully decoded so the camera shows the remaining percentage without pop-ups, and its built-in protection circuits maintain steady voltage and current output during use.

What comes in the box with the 4265B and what must I provide separately to charge it?

The package contains the NP-FZ100 compatible battery itself; you will need to supply a USB-C cable and a 5V 2.2A power source such as a power bank, wall adapter, laptop or car charger.

Which SmallRig NP-FZ100 version should I choose for a Sony FX3 and a7R V kit?

The single 4265B model listed fits both cameras — it matches the original battery dimensions and is fully decoded for the FX3, a7R V and every other Sony body in the compatibility list.
