Portable RGB Video Light for Creators

The SmallRig P96L is a palm-sized LED fill light built for photographers and videographers who need colour-accurate illumination on the move. Its all-aluminium body weighs 117 g and measures 108 x 60 x 11 mm, so it slips into a camera bag or pocket without adding bulk. A standard 1/4-inch screw and cold-shoe mount let you attach it directly to cameras, tripods or phone rigs in seconds.

CRI 96+ Colour Accuracy

The single specification that determines suitability is the CRI 96+ rating, which guarantees faithful colour reproduction for professional photo and video work. Combined with a 2500–8000 K tunable white range and full 0–360° HSI colour control, it eliminates the green-magenta shifts common in lower-CRI panels. An integrated OLED display shows the active mode and exact values at a glance.

1500 mAh Battery and 21 Effects

The built-in 1500 mAh cell delivers up to 12 hours of runtime at minimum output and supports 6.5 W maximum power for bright fill in close-range scenes. Seven scene categories provide 21 preset effects such as lightning, pulse, strobe and emergency flashes for creative lighting. Buyers needing all-day continuous output at full brightness or app-based wireless control should consider larger-capacity units.

Questions about this item

How long does the 1500mAh battery run at the 6.5W maximum output?

The rated MTBF is 12 hours, so at full 6.5W power you can expect roughly 12 hours of continuous use before recharge.

What does the USB charging port cap the input power at?

The light charges over a standard USB connection with a 14cm cord; input current is limited by the USB source, so maximum charging speed depends on the charger you use.

Will the 1/4‑inch thread and cold shoe mount fit my camera rig directly?

Yes, the body includes a standard 1/4‑inch tripod thread and a cold shoe mount, letting you attach it to most cameras, cages or tripods without extra adapters.
