Pocket-Sized RGB Light for On-The-Go Creators
The SmallRig RM 40C is a compact LED video light built for content creators who need portable, colour-accurate illumination. Weighing 302 grams and measuring 5.04 by 3.15 by 1.26 inches, it slips into a bag for travel, outdoor shoots or quick TikTok and YouTube sessions. A 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the base lets you mount it on a camera cage or mini tripod in seconds.
Magnetic Diffuser and USB-C Power for Flexible
An attachable magnetic diffuser snaps on to soften output or lifts off for harder light, while the side-mounted HD LCD screen and precision knob keep settings visible even when the unit is stuck to a metal surface. The built-in 4800mAh battery delivers 55 minutes at full brightness and supports PD fast charging over USB-C so you can keep shooting while plugged in with automatic overheat protection.
Steps Up From Smaller Panels When You Need More
Compared with smaller lights such as the 25C or P96 models, the RM 40C pushes 40W and 4670 lux at 0.5 metres in Boost Mode, covers 2500K to 10000K with CRI 96 and TLCI 99, and adds 14 cinematic effects plus 36000+ colour choices. Creators who only need basic fill for Zoom calls or macro work may find the extra power and colour depth unnecessary.
