A 5 W USB-C soldering iron reaches temperature in 12 seconds with a 32-bit RISC-V controller and auto standby
This smart mini portable soldering iron integrates a 32-bit RISC-V SoC for precise temperature control. It reaches operating temperature in 12 seconds and offers an on-demand rapid boost feature. The adjustable tip temperature suits hobbyists and technicians handling small electronics repairs. Its compact form factor makes it easy to carry for field work or bench use.
The iron accepts power through a USB-C connection, replacing the need for a dedicated mains-powered station. This jump is worth it when you need a lightweight tool powered by a power bank, laptop or wall adapter. It eliminates the bulk of a traditional base unit and fixed cable. The 5-watt rating limits it to small joints and thin wires rather than heavy connectors or large ground planes.
The heating core uses SAE 304 stainless steel housed inside a polycarbonate shell for durability. Auto standby mode engages during inactivity to conserve power and improve safety. The 5-watt output and USB-C power delivery cap the maximum thermal mass it can sustain. It is not suited for continuous high-volume production soldering or tasks requiring sustained high heat.

The iron draws 5 watts through its USB-C port, so any USB-C source that can supply at least 5 W will power it.
Press the button once to start the 12-second warm-up; if the iron sits idle it enters auto standby, so press again to resume heating.
Replace the tip when the plating wears through, the tip no longer wets solder cleanly, or temperature recovery noticeably slows.
