A complete 230 W lamp module with Osram P-VIP bulb and housing rated for 2,500 hours, ready for direct installation in the SB880 projector
This 230-watt projector lamp module fits the SmartBoard SB880 system and ships as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly for straightforward installation. It is intended for schools, meeting rooms and installers who need a direct replacement without rewiring or alignment work. The unit is supplied new and ready to mount.
The lamp is rated for 2,500 hours of operation under normal use, after which brightness and colour uniformity will gradually decline. Actual runtime varies with power-cycle frequency, ambient temperature and the projector’s built-in power-management settings. Users should plan replacement before critical presentations to avoid unexpected dimming.
This module replaces the factory-fitted lamp when its rated hours are exhausted or when the projector signals a lamp warning. The jump is worth it when image brightness has fallen below usable levels for the room size or when the projector refuses to strike. It is not suited for users seeking higher lumen output than the original design or for projectors other than the SB880.

Four versions exist — three OEM variants including the original bulb maker, the SmartBoard-branded unit, and an alternate OEM source, plus a compatible module built with genuine OEM parts — all built to ISO9001 standards and tested for ignition, voltage, beam performance and run-time.
It draws 230 watts from the projector power supply, matching the original specification so brightness, colour balance and thermal load remain exactly as designed.
At roughly four hours per school day the rated life covers about 2.5 years; actual hours vary with power-on cycles, eco-mode settings and ambient temperature.
