Direct-fit replacement for SLR60Wi2

This 280 W projector lamp module arrives fully assembled with bulb and housing, so it installs directly into a SmartBoard SLR60Wi2 projector without extra tools. It is built for schools, meeting rooms and any site that needs a drop-in spare to keep lessons or presentations running.

Rated life and headroom

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3000 hours; switching to economy mode extends that to 4000 hours. The 280 W output matches the original specification, delivering the brightness the projector was designed for until the rated hours are reached.

Thermals, noise and power

The 280 W draw is the only power figure the projector sees, so existing cooling and electrical circuits handle it without change. Because the module replicates the OEM form factor, fan behaviour and acoustic profile remain the same as the original lamp.

Questions about this item

Will the 280W lamp run in my existing SmartBoard projector without a firmware update?

The module is a direct replacement built to the original specifications, so it installs and operates in the SmartBoard SLR60Wi2 without any firmware changes.

How can I confirm the lamp is performing correctly once installed?

After power-up the projector should show a stable image with no flicker; the lamp-hour counter will reset to zero and begin counting toward 3,000 hours in normal mode or 4,000 hours in economy mode.

Does the box contain only the bare bulb or the complete housing, and do I need any extra tools?

The package includes the fully assembled Osram P-VIP 280W bulb inside its housing, ready for tool-free installation; no separate bulb, housing or tools are required.
