Questions about this item

How much heat or fan noise should I expect from the 280 W lamp during all-day use?

The 280 W Osram P-VIP lamp runs at its rated power; the projector's own cooling system handles heat and fan speed, so noise and temperature depend on the host unit rather than the lamp module itself.

What existing hardware must I already have for this lamp module to work?

You need a SmartBoard projector that accepts the UF70 lamp assembly (part 1020991); the module includes both bulb and housing, so no separate cage or tools are required.

Will this 280 W lamp behave the same in an older SmartBoard projector that originally shipped with a lower-wattage module?

This lamp is built for the UF70 specification; using it in a projector designed for a different wattage or lamp code is not supported and could cause ignition or cooling issues.
