Smartish Cable Wrangler beige

The Smartish Cable Wrangler SLK-MB-TAN-FBA is a freestanding magnetic cord holder finished in Lightly Toasted Beige. A weighted metal core and non-slip rubber base keep it stable on desks or nightstands. Strong internal magnets secure up to five cables in place without adhesives. The scratch-safe fabric or vegan leather exterior protects furniture surfaces.

Desk users who want visible cable access

This organiser suits anyone who wants cords parked exactly where they left them and within easy reach. It works on wood, glass or laminate without leaving residue. Buyers who need cables completely concealed or routed through grommets should look at something else. It also does not mount to walls or monitor arms.

Holds five cables on a 3.24 in square base

The 3.24 inch by 3.24 inch footprint with a .1 inch profile keeps up to five cords organised and visible. The .231 kilogram weighted core prevents tipping during daily tugs. Lifetime warranty covers the magnetic holder. It runs out of space when more than five cables need parking simultaneously.

Questions about this item

Does the Cable Wrangler need to be plugged in or mounted to work?

No. It is a freestanding magnetic holder with a weighted metal core and a grippy rubber base that keeps it planted on any desk or nightstand without adhesives, screws or power.

Will the magnetic top interfere with older mechanical hard drives or magnetic stripe cards I keep nearby?

The manufacturer advises keeping credit cards and old-school hard drives away from the strong internal magnet, but it is safe for everyday cables, phones and laptops.

How can I tell the Cable Wrangler is holding my cables securely after I set it up?

Each cable snaps into the magnetic top and stays visible and parked exactly where you left it; the weighted base prevents the unit from tipping or sliding when you tug a cord.
