Heavy-duty filing for bulky archives

These gray pressboard folders handle bulky, heavily used files in letter-size systems. The 25-point stock contains at least 25 percent post-consumer content and resists daily wear. A Tyvek accordion-pleat gusset with double-thickness cloth expands one inch for added capacity. Sold in boxes of 25.

Replaces lighter folders that tear under weight

Standard manila or lightweight pressboard folders split when packed with dense records or frequent handling. The reinforced gusset and heavier board keep edges intact through repeated access. The upgrade is worth it when files grow beyond a single-inch stack or see constant retrieval.

Stays rigid through repeated expansion cycles

The double-thickness cloth gusset flexes without cracking as the folder swells to its one-inch limit. Pressboard corners hold their shape during shelf compression and drawer friction. Performance remains consistent across the full 25-folder box during sustained daily use.

Questions about this item

Does the 13200 folder require a specific binder ring size or filing cabinet rail to fit?

The folder is letter-size with a straight-cut tab 1/2" high and a Tyvek accordion gusset that expands 1 inch, so it fits standard letter filing cabinets and shelves without special rails.

What is the step people often miss when putting these folders into service?

Buyers sometimes forget to crease the double-thickness gray cloth gusset fully before loading files, which lets the 1-inch expansion work smoothly and prevents the pressboard from cracking.

Which part of the 13200 folder will wear out first and need replacement?

The 25-point pressboard body resists wear, but the Tyvek accordion gusset and cloth reinforcement are the moving parts; heavy daily flexing will eventually fatigue the gusset before the cover does.
