Blue fastener folder for bulky files

The Smead 15000 fastener folder holds large, active paper sets such as project files, real estate transactions or legal documents. Each folder expands 1 inch and uses two fasteners to keep letter-size sheets in sequential order for frequent reference. The 25-point pressboard construction and 100 percent recycled content suit eco-focused offices that handle heavy daily filing.

Pressboard durability under heavy use

The 25-point pressboard material resists tearing and edge wear when folders are pulled, carried and reopened repeatedly throughout the day. A 1-inch expansion capacity lets the folder grow with the file without stressing the fasteners or the cover. SFI-certified recycled fibre maintains stiffness over time, so the folder keeps its shape even when packed to the limit.

Letter-size format and expansion limit

Designed for 8.50 by 11 inch letter sheets, the folder measures 9.5 inches high by 11.8 inches wide with a 1/3-cut tab in assorted positions. The two fasteners secure pages along the long edge, but the 1-inch expansion sets a hard ceiling on how much paper one folder can hold. Buyers who need more storage per folder or a different tab cut will need another product.
