Fastener folder with 3-inch expansion

Blue pressboard fastener folders hold bulky letter-size documents in sequential order. Each folder uses two fasteners to secure punched pages and expands up to three inches for high-volume files. The 25-point pressboard construction resists wear from frequent handling. Boxes contain twenty-five folders for office-wide filing systems.

Suits offices managing large project or legal files

Teams that need quick access to thick, chronologically ordered paperwork benefit from the fasteners and deep expansion. Buyers who want individual ring binders or portable document wallets should look at other products. The folders are designed for shelf filing, not mobile use.

100-percent recycled pressboard material

Every folder is made from fully recycled paper certified to the SFI standard. The green-compliant stock supports eco-friendly procurement policies without sacrificing rigidity. The blue colour and assorted tab positions aid visual sorting in dense filing runs.

Questions about this item

Will the 3" expansion and 11.8" width fit standard letter-size hanging rails?

The folder measures 11.8" wide and 9.5" high with a 3" expansion, matching letter-size dimensions of 8.50" x 11" for standard rails.

How do the two fasteners secure papers, and what is the common mistake?

The two embedded fasteners pierce punched sheets; the common mistake is not aligning holes with both fasteners before closing.

When should the 25 pt pressboard folder be replaced under heavy use?

Replace when the 25 pt pressboard edges fray, the 3" expansion gusset tears, or fasteners no longer hold punched sheets securely.
