SKU CH-NZRT-N250D

Short 30 cm outdoor extension cord with 16 AWG wiring rated for 13 A and a weatherproof rubber socket cover

  • 30 cm short length keeps outdoor power connections tidy and clutter-free
  • 16 AWG copper conductors deliver stable current up to 13 A for garden appliances
  • Integrated waterproof rubber cover seals the female socket against rain and debris
  • UV-resistant outer jacket withstands sunlight, moisture and abrasion in exterior use
  • Simple plug-and-play design needs no tools for quick patio or garden setup

Purpose-Built Outdoor Extension

This 30 cm cord carries a 13 A rating through 16 AWG copper conductors and terminates in a standard three-prong male plug and female socket. The integrated rubber cover seals the female end against rain, dust and debris whether a plug is inserted or not. A UV-stable outer jacket resists sunlight, moisture and abrasion for patio, garden and backyard use.

Suitable Uses and Limits

The short length eliminates slack when powering landscape lights, small garden appliances or exterior accessories close to an outlet. Builders who need longer reach, higher amperage or a submersible cable should look at other options. The cord is weather-resistant but not rated for standing water or permanent immersion.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 16 AWG conductors are rated for continuous operation at the full 13 A without overheating when the cord is fully uncoiled and exposed to air. The weatherproof cover maintains its seal during extended outdoor exposure, and the UV-stable jacket resists degradation from prolonged sunlight. Keep total connected load at or below the rated maximum for safe, reliable performance.

Questions about this item

What type of outlet does the 3-prong male plug connect to?

The 3-prong male plug connects to a standard three-prong grounded AC receptacle.

Can the 16AWG cord safely power a device that draws less than 13A alongside older outdoor equipment?

Yes, the 16AWG copper wiring is rated for up to 13A maximum continuous load, so it will safely supply any compatible device within that limit.

How can I confirm the weatherproof rubber cover is sealing the female socket correctly after I plug in my garden lights?

The flexible rubber cover closes over the female socket whether a plug is inserted or not; check that it sits flush around the connection to block rain and debris.
