  • Single push-button switching changes sources instantly without software
  • Includes two USB 2.0 cables for immediate plug-and-play setup

Two-Port HDMI KVM Switch

This 2-port HDMI KVM switch lets you control two computers from a single monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer. It is designed for home offices or small workstations where desk space is limited and users want to reduce cable clutter without adding software complexity.

4K at 30Hz Video Limit

The HDMI output supports 4K resolution at 30Hz, which is suitable for office applications, media playback and general graphic viewing. Higher refresh rates or resolutions beyond this specification are not supported, so fast-paced gaming or high-frame-rate video editing will not benefit from this device.

Check Host Ports and Peripheral Needs

Verify that each computer has an HDMI video output and a spare USB 2.0 port for the included connection cables. The switch shares USB 2.0 peripherals only; devices requiring USB 3.0 speeds or proprietary drivers may not function correctly through the shared hub.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the two USB 2.0 cables included?

The two cables are identical; use one for each computer so both hosts can share the monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer through the single switch.

What does the 4K@30Hz rating mean once the switch is connected?

It means the switch passes a 4K signal at 30 frames per second, giving a sharp picture for office work and video playback but not the smoother motion of higher refresh rates.

What interface does the switch use and what does it cap in practice?

The switch uses HDMI for video and USB 2.0 for peripherals, capping video at 4K 30Hz and peripheral speed at USB 2.0 rates.
