SMUGDESK

SMUGDESK 2 Port HDMI USB KVM Switch 4K

SKU CH-XB6M-D8BQ6

A 4K HDMI KVM switch lets two computers share one monitor, keyboard, mouse and USB peripherals with simple button switching and driver-free setup

  • Share one 4K monitor between two computers
  • Control both PCs with a single keyboard and mouse
  • Switch hosts instantly using the front-panel button
  • Works driver-free on Windows and Mac OS
  • Share USB peripherals such as a printer between systems

Two-Computer Desk Consolidation

This SMUGDESK KVM switch lets two computers share one 4K monitor, keyboard, mouse and USB peripherals such as a printer. It removes the need to swap cables or duplicate input devices on a crowded desk. The unit targets office workers, designers and home users who operate both systems daily.

Driver-Free Hook-Up and Button Switching

Connect each computer with its own HDMI and USB cables, then attach the shared monitor and peripherals; no software installation is required on Windows, Mac OS or other mainstream systems. A single physical button on the switch toggles control between the two hosts instantly. The only common pitfall is forgetting to supply the necessary HDMI and USB data cables, which are not included.

4K HDMI Video Support

The switch passes a 4K Ultra HD HDMI signal for sharp, stable output during document work, graphic design or media playback. Both connected computers must provide a standard HDMI output that matches this resolution. If either source cannot drive 4K over HDMI, the shared display will fall back to a lower mode.

Which cables must I supply myself to connect two computers, a monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer?

You need two HDMI cables for video and two USB data cables for the computer links; the monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer use their own standard cables.

Should I choose this 2-port model or look for a version with more ports for my two-computer setup?

This unit is built specifically for two computers sharing one monitor and USB peripherals; if you only have two hosts it matches your needs exactly.
